This clinic sees pregnant women with medical and obstetric conditions which mean they are at higher risk of complications: as per page 3 and 4 in the Antenatal Shared Care Information Kit
This is a multidisciplinary clinic and is accessed by referral to the Antenatal Clinic with the medical and obstetric risks highlighted and ensuring the referral complies to referral standards.

Urgent referrals should be accompanied by a phone call to the Consultant/Registrar to organise urgent review and the referral must be faxed.
We will endeavour to see these patients within four weeks, or sooner if clinically indicated.
